Skylanders Giants - Bouncer unboxing, light core effects, and preview.

So, today I got one of the upcoming Skylanders from the sequel "Giants". I got him off of ebay for around $25, a good price I might ask for an early product. He's got a good solid feel to him, and he's about as tall as two normal size Skylanders. Of course, with wave 1, we get "Swarm" and "Crusher" (also Tree Rex), but I can't get my hands on him yet, so this would have to do for now.

Skylanders: Giants triple pack preview- Shroomboom, Chop Chop (series 2), and Cannon Piece

I've finally got a package that's for Skylanders: Giants.

It came in the mail today, and had to show a preview of it (picture below).  This package includes the new Series 2 Chop Chop, a cannon piece - supposedly for a new arena -, and a new character being introduced from Giants, Shroomboom.

The packaging is the same as you do with the others:
-Instructions on how to activate the arena.
-List of characters (they omitted the Giants and one or two Series 1 characters of each elements).


It kinda pained me to tear open the package.  It looks really well packaged and well designed.  Anyway, I show off the figures, the cannon piece, and (when the game comes out) show the arena off.

New Skylander Giant + release date revealed!

A new Giant was revealed today!  His name is Swarm and apparently he's an Air giant and he looks like a flying mutated bee..  huh, reminds me of that old Futurama episode.

Here's a preview that was released today.  On a side note from the Skylander, the levels look really amazing in this trailer!  If you go to 0:24, it looks like one of those challenges from Ratchet and Clank (since Mike Stout works on both games), which is a good thing!  I'm loving these previews more and more.  Keep them coming!

Ordered Skylander sidekicks!

Well, today I was with my mother in Walmart and I stumbled upon some Frito Lay bags.  They were $7 (awesome deal, btw) and we got them.  If you bought them, you get this postcard to get a free Skylander sidekick (with $2.00 shipping of course).  I just hope I don't get stinky Terrabite (HAHA Terabyte, GET IT?!), nor Gill Runt.  Sure, Gill Grunt is the worst of the four, but Terrabite is just plain hideous.  Here's a picture of the postcard that I received, and blurred some parts for obvious reasons.

So, yeah, you can see me writing my first name, that I have terrible handwriting.  Anyway, I hope...um, yeah... I get the one I want, Trigger Snappy or Whisper Elf and upload myself playing it on YouTube.  Also, the camera quality is bad, because for some reason, the iPad 2's camera is pretty horrible.  I thought it's suppose to be good?  (Click the photo on the left to see it full size.)

Still trying to organize the blog.

OK, it's 7 in the morning, I can't sleep, and have nothing better to-do at this point.  Since I'm new to Blogger and all, I'm still trying to decided what goes where, what gadgets I should put, and what needs to go and stay.  That kind-of stuff..
